It is being led by Usewoodfuel Scotland www.usewoodfuel.co.uk, an EU-funded partnership between Forestry Commission Scotland, The Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and Forest Research. This is consistent with the Charlesfield Strategy to create a wood pellet manufacturing and distribution centre to engage in this emerging market supported by the Renewable Heat Incentive.
